In 2015, Victoria began to pave the way for a different direction for Prima Packaging, after implementing BRC V7 Food, SMETA, and Quality Management Systems at Prima Packaging and assisting several companies to do the same. Victoria said, “Over the last three years, I’ve been gaining the qualifications and expanding my experience and knowledge with Prima Packaging. I’ve always found great interest in the various audit systems we’ve had to implement over the years, and I wanted to provide a service that helped other companies ensure they were applying the correct quality and management systems within their operations.” Victoria joined and successfully achieved the BRC Global Standards Professional Programme as an extension to her own personal development. When she founded the company in 1997, she realised that in order to grow the business and maximise profits, it was necessary to implement audit systems, including BRCGS, Retailer Technical Standards and SMETA. She became interested in these standards and began working closely with a consultant, achieving a grade A with her first BRCGS Food Audit, which she found highly satisfying. Joining this programme helped Victoria to train and develop a career within the Systems.
